Detection Capabilities:

• Vehicle Types: Identifies cars, motorcycles, trucks, and even pedestrians and small objects.
• Detection Range: Adjustable range of 1 meter to 6 meters from the sensor, making it ideal for boom barriers or gates.
• Weatherproof: Functions reliably in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 85°C and is rated IP67 for dust and water resistance.

Applications:

• Boom Barrier Control: The VR10 is primarily used with boom barriers or gates at entrances and exits. It ensures the barrier opens upon vehicle presence and closes automatically when the vehicle clears the detection zone, preventing accidents and damage.
• Parking Management: Can be integrated with parking management systems to detect vehicle arrivals and departures.

Advantages over Loop Detectors;

• Flexible Installation: Unlike loop detectors that require embedded wires in pavement, the VR10 offers easier installation and is less susceptible to damage from ground disturbances.
• Unaffected by Vehicle Speed: The VR10 can detect vehicles even if they are moving slowly, unlike loop detectors which may have limitations at low speeds.
