C-TEC conventional sounder

C-TEC Conventional Sounder is an audible device designed for use with conventional fire alarm systems to provide an audible warning in the event of a fire or emergency. C-TEC offers a range of conventional sounders that are compatible with their fire alarm control panels and are suitable for various environments.

C-TEC Conventional Sounder features;

1. Audible Alarm Notification
   • Provides a loud audible alarm signal to alert occupants of a fire or emergency. Sound output levels typically range from 90dB to 100dB at 1 meter, depending on the model.
   • Multiple sound output settings are available to suit different environments (e.g., high output for noisy environments, lower output for quieter settings).
2. Multiple Tones
   • Supports a range of different tones that can be selected to distinguish between fire alarms, evacuation signals, or other alerts. Common tones include continuous, pulsed, and temporal patterns.
   • Some models offer up to 32 different tones, allowing customization to meet specific requirements.
3. Compatibility
   • Designed for use with conventional fire alarm control panels, such as the C-TEC CFP series or other compatible conventional panels.
   • Two-wire or four-wire connections are available, depending on the specific model and installation requirements.
4. Visual Indication (Sounder Beacon Combination)
   • Some models come with an integrated beacon that provides a visual warning in addition to the audible alarm. This is especially useful in noisy environments or for hearing-impaired occupants.
   • The beacon uses high-intensity LED lights that are visible in a range of lighting conditions.
